Beauty Bin June 2018

These beauty bin posts come round so fast, honestly every time I write one it's odd to think another month has passed. If you're a regular reader on the blog you'll notice a few things are popping up each month time and time again, clearly I have a few favourites. Let's delve into this months beauty delights shall we?

Imperial Leather Foamy Banana Bath Cream - A true fave. I'm certain I've mentioned this product in other beauty bins so I won't dwell. Just know that for £1 you won't let down (especially if you love fruity scents.)

Soap And Glory Under-Eye Mask - Love. This. From Boots after seeing Imogen reccomend them and how you can pop them in the fridge to re use. Ah-mazing.

Aveeno Skin Relief Nourishing Lotion - You know when your skin starts drastically changing and you're just like what the hell? Your makeup doesn't sit right, your oily skin starts becoming a dry mess. Yep well fear no more, Aveeno sorted me right out. It is heavy cream and this particular one was not made for the face, it's a body lotion. I call this multi-purpose. I really need to invest in this cream again.

PS... Micellar Facial Cleansing Wipes - Another product that has popped into my beauty bin for the past two or so months. No need to dwell on these wipes after but I'm so over spending £3-£5 on a pack of wipes when Primark have me covered for £1 for a twin pack. Winning.

Lush Butterball Bath Bomb - It's not even worth having a bath unless you've got a bath bomb to throw in there. Butterball is a go-to for me for something that is super moisturising and smells delish. You can read more into what Lush themselves have to say about the product here.

Superdrug Brightening Day Cream - When you find a product that works for you it's amazing. This face cream I ran out of last month and just knew I had to repurchase this. A little goes a long way and it's just perfect for my skin. It's not too thick or greasy for my skin, considering I have oily skin, and mixing this with my oil-infused micellar water allows my makeup to literally glide on.

Classic Carmex Lip Balm - Who goes out without a lip balm? Not me. My saviour is Carmex (although I do prefer the strawberry scented one.) It actually does the job rather than giving me a tacky feel on my lips. The product also seems to last forever, a fave from me. Don't worry, I've already had a back up wayyyy before this one ran out.

Burberry Weekend Eau De Parfum - I've probably mentioned this before, but I'll mention it again. I'm not one to buy myself perfume - like ever. So this was a gift from who knows how long ago, probably at least a year. I use a lot of body sprays/mists hence why perfume lasts me so long. This is a very neutral scent. Burberry themselves describe it as having 'notes of blue hyacinth, iris, nectarine, peach flower, red cyclamen and wild rose. Finally Burberry Weekend perfume comes to a close with base notes that create the perfect blend of sandalwood, cedar and musk.' Summed it up better than I ever could I guess.

L'OrĂ©al False Lash Telescopic Mascara - This mascara is everything. I've been asked several times if I have false lashes on when I wear this. Top compliment that. It's £10.99 which I always buy from Boots or Superdrug (normally 3 for 2 on cosmetics.) I've been using the same mascara for years. Ocassionaly I tried out other mascara's but nothing compares.

L.A. Girl Pro Concealer, Warm Honey - YAY for a full coverage concealer. I'll opt for this or my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, depending on my skin that day really. Sometimes I use both, why not eh. It's roughly £3-£5 depending where you purchase this from. Beauty Bay sell it though if you're unable to locate a local retailer.

MAC Blot Powder, Dark - As much as I LOVE this product I can't bring myself to spend the twenty off pound again for this. You know when all your everyday makeup starts running out at once and before you know it you're doing what feels like a haul in Boots? Yeah that's been me. So I'm not up for spending more than I need to right now, even if it's for makeup. Wahh. I noticed that NYX do a dupe for £10 or less I believe but I did buy a Maybelline translucent pressed powder for now. I'm already missing this product though, big time. Maybe I'll bite the bullet soon. Maybe...

MUA Eyeshadow, Chamoisee - Anyone else swatch products in store and you're like yasss, this is the one. You take it home, apply it and think why on earth did I buy this? Yep. That's me with this product. Swatched it, loved it. Wore it, hated it. So bless, it's been at the bottom of my makeup bag for a while unused and now in the bin.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, 35 - I've been using this exact concealer for years. Probably at least 3 minimum. What I will say is that when this product is on it's last leg it does tend to dry up in the container but that's just a sign to throw it out, clearly. It's not as full coverage as the L.A. Girl but I love it's finish and smooth application.

Bubble Purifying + Charcoal Face Mask Sheet - This I was super wary about. I hadn't used anything like this before (that litterally bubbled on your face through a sheet mask?!) I was really surprised at how much of a difference this made my skin feel. As it's soap it felt like a real deep clean and left my skin feeling very cleansed after wearing the mask for 10 minutes or so. Definitely reccomend these although they come up around £5.00+ in Superdrug.

Garnier Ultimate Blends Body Butter - This was part of a gift set at Christmas (wow Rochelle are you still filtering through Christmas gifts. Yes indeedy.) This body butter is really thick and not a favourite to be honest. My fave from Garnier is probably the Intensive 7 Days Moisturiser just because of its consitency and it's not overly fragranced either.

The Body Shop Strawberry Shower Gel - Body Shop are winning with their scents honestly. It's a shame their products come up a bit pricey for some things but I've got several of their shower gels since a deal was going around Christmas. There it is again, Christmas.

The Body Shop Coconut Bath Bubble - Perhaps I've spoken about these little beauties for the past two monthly empties now? £1.50, grab 'em all. Yes, Lush will always win for me with bath bombs but Body Shop are second best with these.
